Taclink showcases industry-leading low power consumption 800G DR8

From September 6th to September 8th, 2023, Taclink (Stock Code: 688205) presented its independently developed low power consumption 800G DR8 OSFP optical at CIOE2023.

Taclink's newly introduced 800G DR8 OSFP optical transceiver solution, targeting data center and computing network applications, utilizes a single CW laser combined with a thin-film lithium niobate (TFLN) modulator and a low power consumption 5nm DSP chip, achieving the goal of low power consumption design. The live demonstration showed that the module operates at a power consumption of only around 11W, reaching an industry-leading level.

In recent years, Taclink has been dedicated to the development and technological advancement of high-speed optical modules, providing cost-effective products for data center and computing network applications. This includes the 400G/800G SR/DR/FR series products and high-speed data communication optical module products with LPO solutions.

In addition to the low power consumption 800G DR8 OSFP, Taclink also exhibited other advanced high-speed optical transceiver products, amplifier products, and the latest optical transmission subsystem products at booth 11C51 in Hall 11 of the Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center during CIOE.
