Welcome to youjat. By using youjat (software for your mobile phone) including youjat.com (website) you signify your irrevocable acceptance of these Terms of Use – this includes that anyone who uses the software/website on your computer/your mobile phone also abides by the Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, you are not allowed to use youjat on your mobile phone or youjat.com on your computer. Youjat has the right to revise the Terms of Use at any time without providing notice to its users. Your continued use of youjat shall be deemed irrevocable acceptance of those revisions. Youjat is provided in the form of a public beta version. This means that the current version is free of charge to the user – however you do not acquire a title for an unlimited free usage by participating in the beta phase. By using youjat, costs for mobile data transfer may incurr (depending on the type of your mobile phone subscription). You explicitely agree that you are aware of these costs in detail – in your home country but also in the data roaming case (when using youjat abroad).

Youjat may modify (e.g. end of beta phase/official launch) or terminate its services from time to time, for any reason, and without notice, including the right to terminate with or without notice, without liability to you, any other user or any third party. Youjat may include advertisements or links to third party websites. You agree to receive e-mail messages (which may include attachments) as part of the optional youjat newsletter that has to be actively ordered in advance. You are able to deactivate the newsletter subscription at my.youjat.com.

Youjat is provided on an “as is“ and “as available“ basis. Youjat expressly disclaims any warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, of fitness for a particular purpose, or of non-infringement and cannot guarantee and does not promise any specific results from use of the service. Youjat makes no guarantee that the service will be timely, secure, or error-free. The service may be temporarily or indefinitely unavailable for maintenance or other reasons. Youjat expressly disclaims any warranty that the the mobile software will work correctly on the user’s mobile device even if the device fully meets the requirements (MIDP 2.0, screen resolution 176x208px or higher).

You agree to keep the information within your youjat.com account true, accurate, current and complete. You agree to register only data you have a right to use and don’t include someone else’s trademarks. You agree not to invite people you do not know (“spam invitation“) to youjat conversations. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password/account You agree to notify youjat immediately of any unauthorized use of your password/account.

Any abusive/fraudulent/otherwise illegal activity may be grounds for termination of your account, at youjat’s sole discretion, and may be reported to appropriate law-enforcement agencies. By submitting messages via youjat you are granting youjat a non-terminable, non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use this material in any form.

You agree to indemnify and hold youjat and related partners harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of service.

You agree to comply with all local rules regarding online conduct and acceptable content. You are solely responsible for the messages you send to the public or as private messages.

The content and compilation of content are the property of youjat, protected by international copyright laws and may be used only with youjat’s written permission.

If you do not comply with these Terms of Use youjat may terminate your account anytime without warning or prior notice and delete all account related data.

Privacy Policy

Youjat may gather and process information about you: Youjat may contact you from time to time to ask you to provide information on your experience in order to improve the service. There is no obligation for you to provide any information.

We will respond to requests to view, correct, complete or remove your personal information within a reasonable period of time and upon verification of your identity. Please contact support[at]youjat.com for these type of requests.
